Can anyone tell me what ball joints are used on the front wishbones of a super six, I think top and bottom are the same....but may be wrong on that one.

Details - huge classic/kit/modern car show with show ring and events running all day. - see attached poster or http://www.countryfayre.info/

Now the preamble is out of the way - EATOC had an initial allocation of 30 tickets for this event and I thought they would have gone in a matter of days once word got out. But no we still have a few left.

Each ticket will admit one car and occupants for a total cost of 5 which is payable at the entrance.

Obviously we would like as many tigers as possible but if you want to bring another 'interesting' car then please do. If I do end up giving all the tickets out and more are required then I will make enquiries if any are still available. Otherwise it is 6 per person to gain entry.

BTW two key points

1. you need to be there early - if you turn up after 11AM there is a good chance you will be asked to pay the full entry fee. Personally I would aim at 10AM being your target time. You can leave at any time but we would prefer it for you to spend as long as possible.

2. As it is the EATOC agm the committee reserves the right to attempt to persuade any non-eatoc members to join the club!

The weeks have flown by and its only a couple of weeks to the Run To The Sun.As posted before the run is 19th july from Newlands Corner too West Wittering.Departure time about 10:30.Any way this post is to ask for a show of hands,by emailing me at n.ward@ntlworld.com just so i can knock out some route maps.Any questions just post them here,i will be checking daily.

Water Temp

Hi, I am concerned at how hot my Pinto engine is running at, the norm seems to indicate around 90 to 95 even with the fan running.
I have heard of a product called Water wetter and was wondering if anyone has used this and with what results.Apparently it works by breaking down the surface tension of water so more heat can be dissapetted.

Wanted - Rev Counter 80mmm dia

i think my tiger rev counter has had it (needle has a mind of it's own and usually just ends up pointing directly down)

Anyone have a spare rev counter for sale....needs to fir 80mm hole other than that it can be any colour or style

Well its been along time since I have posted on here, good to see the forum is still going strong.

Sadly I am now looking to sell my Avon, it has been off the road since the tax ran out back in August 05. Hopefully someone on here wants to give it the love it deserves.

This is a Westfield I bought with a pal last October that we have fixed up over winter and played with (in addition to my Tiger). Bought to get my mate into the kit car scene but he now wants another kit with more oomf! He`s definately got the bug! This is ideal if you know anyone that wants to get into the kit `7 style` scene.

So.....

Westfield SE I Wide Body 1992 (Q plate) in Bright Red. Powered by excellent free revving Toyota 4AGE 1.6 Twin Cam Engine mated to

5 speed type 9 gearbox.

MOT til April 2010, Taxed to 31/10/09. This car is in nice condition with these extras;

Wilwood Calipers up front

Remote Oil Cooler/Filter

Quick release steering wheel

Twin Weber 40s

Full Weather Gear includes side screens, roof (albeit a bit tatty), boot tonneau cover and full cockpit tonneau cover.

Locking boot compartment.

There is a Comprehensive History file with this car going right back to when it was built in 1992.

Car was purchased with a poorly engine as a first winter project. We didnt bother with the old poorly engine and instead sourced a donor MR2 with 89,000 miles, full history and one lady owner from new! We fitted the new engine, replaced oil, filter, fluids and the cam belt was changed too. Wiring tidied up and a few other things improved such as new dash. Loads of photos of the re-build including Donor Vehicle (for verification of legitimacy).

Car now runs great and has been great fun to drive as a first kit car, however the time has come to do another project so she has to be sold. A genuine car that is being sold at a bargain price.

Be quick this must be one of the cheapest Westfields available anywhere.

Poorly engine plus other 4age spares can go with the car if buyer wants them. Price 4750 o.n.o.

Scappage scheme Success/Failure

The Scappage scheme was suppose to be a limited offer when the money was gone that was it. But it seem that it has been going on for months now.

There can only be so many people with a 200 junker that can afford 8K plus of debt to buy a brand new car.

Initially I thought it would see the end of sierras for use in kit cars. But I guess the scappage scheme may have missed the mark.

Does any know anyone who has used this, or are car sales up because of it?

And should we be buying up scapped Sierras to make a killing on the bits?
