I don't know about this as such, but the Detling show used to be at Chatham Docks. IMHO it was better in those days. They do several shows at Chatham, the last one I went to was a bike jobby. Pretty good actually, good parking, nice venue etc. I'd be up for it. __________________ Tiger Super Six Independent

Reply with quote | #4 | I've not been to the steam shows (do u need a beard or a yorkshire accent to get in?) I remember the Dockyard shows too, my mum used to be a guide in the Historic Dockyard, and did go to a couple (including this last one held there) I had my eye on a Rotrax at the time but had neither the money or the space to build it.
Unfortunately it clashes with Detling next year

Its a pity that Chatham requires the cars to be there all day - otherwise could have possibly done the 2 events as Detling doesnt exactly have tons going on to keep interest for long! __________________ 2.1 Scholar Zetec

Reply with quote | #9 | I know of this show and as an exhibitor you gain admission to all of the attractions within the dockyard which is good. Only problem I can see is that it always has a strong contingent of the KentKitCarClub there which I am sure you would be asked to park up with. Each to there own, but I find them an odd cliquey bunch personally. On a par with the steam guys Dan!
